Brenda & Shaylesh’s Engagement Photos

The fall season ushers in many long awaited annual treats: freshly
baked pumpkin pie, the visual tapestry of colored leaves and the
variety of seasonal festivities. Of which Octoberfest is one of the
oldest and most widely celebrated. A celebration of all things German
that Brenda & Shalyesh thought would be great to use as a backdrop
in their engagement shoot.

Our rendezvous was in Unionville where we were looking to capture the
spirit of the event, only to be disappointed by the rather typical
weekend shoppers and toy dogs. There were of course traditionally
dressed musicians, but alas even their lederhosen and feathered hats
traversed that fine line between tacky tourist and German tradition.

The Kumari crew is not easily thwarted, and with a
little (ok a lot) of support from the fearless and determined Brenda
pulled off one of our favorite shoots. At one point Brenda scaled a building in 4 inch heals to help compose a shot perched
atop a roof. After using the off angles & heights of the historic
street, we headed out for a little fun in the country. Pumpkins, apple
cider & hay bales turned out to be just what the shoot needed to
capture the season.

Thanks Brenda & Shaylesh for a fun filled adventurous afternoon. We are looking forward to your big day! Prost!
