Who doesn’t love playing games?… add a picnic and beautiful spring weather to the mix and you got yourself the makings of an amazing e-shoot! Ambreen and Puneet’s easy going personality was just right for a “games night” themed e-shoot. Puneet being from beautiful sunny AZ, wanted the taste of downtown TO. So in true Canadian style we gave him a photographer’s tour of Toronto…and the photos turned out beautifully!

Thank you Ambreen for being up for anything, and a hearty Canadian welcome to Puneet…we hope you fall in love with our city and don’t sweep our beautiful Ambreen away to the US…pls move here! xoxo

Vivian & David’s “Trash The Dress” Shoot

After most weddings, dresses are stored for the sake of preserving the beauty of a couple’s most important day. We, on the other hand, love to push the limits and love even more to have couples that like to do the same. Vivian and David definitely fit the bill for the tall order ahead of them. Vivian wished to give her dress one last hurrah, and without hesitation or flinch we were on the scene to capture this spectacular trashing of Vivian’s dress! Mud, wind, or frigid april waterfall temperatures didn’t stop any of us.

Thanks Vivian & David for making our jobs a blast right from our first beginning- shaking Toby’s paws in a wild flower garden, shooting you guys in a carnival, and continuing past the fun with the trashing of your dress! It’s never a dull moment in front of our lenses thanks to wonderfully creative and trusting people like yourselves! XOXO

Chicago, IL: Nina & Milap’s Engagement Shoot

We’re always so excited to go to new cities and discover unknown shoot locations. Adventure is always the name of the game when we location scout…and those of you who know Monty, know that he’ll never leave any rock unturned and has a keen eye to find amazing locations. Chicago gave us an amazing background to shoot against, but the windy city didn’t make it easy for us! I could barely keep my feet on the ground with the gusts of cold wind blowing all around us, but in the eye of a storm enter Nina and Milap- a GORGEOUS couple, they added so much class to an already amazing city.

Thank-you Nina and Milap for being such troopers despite the freezing conditions…we’re super excited for our next shoot!

Paul & Anne’s Metropolitan Park Run-Away

Running is a normal occurrence for any busy metropolitan, yet rarity befalls those wishing to slow down and enjoy the little things. Paul & Anne mix as well as work and pleasure. Their day started with the scent of the elusive Japanese Cherry Blossoms of High Park, an even rarer occasion than having a chance to simply step out of the metropolitan cycle of work, sleep & coffee. A daring escape to expression ended their day at the always-bright Yonge-Dundas Square.

It was a tale of two cities, and we were joyed to be there for both. Thank you Anne & Paul, and we look forward to continuing the fun on your big day!

Nicole & Matt’s Queen West Conquest

Meet Nicole & Matt, a couple flourishing on the edge of a bland core. Where Matt meets Nicole is where vintage meets modern. It’s not everyday we have a couple so vibrant as to outshine the community in which they live, especially when its the hip and trendy West Queen West. Where bikes almost outnumber people, these two like to ride and explore the parks and back alleys of Toronto’s most exciting neighbourhood. We must thank Nicole & Matt for their unique ability to brighten up even the gloomiest of April days, allowing us to capture but a glimpse into the joy shared between them!

Santa Monica used to be my old stomping grounds and whenever I get a chance to go back, I’m like a giddy school girl. Everything about my spirit is California, and each time I go back, I leave a little piece of my heart behind. This time, I left it with Raj and Khushboo two amazing soul mates who welcomed us into their lives and into their homes… like we were friends forever.

From the filming of the DDLJ video (a bollowood video remake!) to the Santa Monica Pier photo shoot on the coldest Californian day, we laughed through it all! Below you’ll see a synopsis of our week of filming and shooting with the gorgeous couple.

Rebranding Break

Hello dear followers,

We’ve just returned from a wonderfully creative and inspiring trip to Southern California. We’ve been working long hours ever since we got back and very soon will be presenting a new side of Kumari! So please accept our apologies… I hope you’ll find that it’s worth the wait.

Allison & Mike’s NYC E-Shoot

These streets will make you feel brand new, the lights will inspire you…let’s hear it for New York! You can read every book, watch every sentimental romantic Manhattan comedy movie (or mobster film), gaze upon the skyline with awe… but it still wouldn’t add up to a days worth of pounding the pavement in this epic metropolis.

It seems that almost everyone has some connection to the city… our is through our couples. Allison & Mike who are celebrating the start of their lives together in Toronto later this summer wanted to capture the backdrop and feel of the city which means so much to them. We love shooting in NYC! Discovering it’s dark alleyways and amazing boutiques and the cultural neighborhoods… despite it size it has retained a sense of uniqueness.

Allison & Mike, what a wonderful day we had with you both! Thank you for taking the time to show us around your grand stopping grounds… and the lights did indeed inspire us! We loved the opportunity to get to know you both better and are looking forward to an unforgettable wedding day!

Ranjah & Heer’s Anniversary Photos

10 years ago, Ranjah and Heer fell in love in their high school hallway…today they’re celebrating their love with Kumari. This is our first anniversary shoot, and I think it’s an awesome way to celebrate! We’ve shot Ranjah last year where she wowed us with her modelesque moves and where their love melted my heart.

What an honor to work with you both again…thanks for having us at all your life hallmarks! We’re looking forward to more to come. xoxo
