Naima and Zeb’s Wedding Photos

It’s rare that we get a chance to shoot with a groom who has an incredible sense of fashion and an eye for the details. Zeb, our very own creative director and owner of Nomad’s in Queen West married Naima, the love of his life. When you see them together, you know that love is truly in the air. As lovers of Japanese culture, we chose Kariya Park as their shoot location. The park did not disappoint, from it’s beautiful serene views of nature and it’s gorgeous Asian architecture, it was a surprising oasis in the concrete canyon which is Mississauga. Naima, you looked STUNNING and Zeb, you’re a lucky guy!  Thanks to the both of you for being so kind to us and trusting us with all your moments. xoxo

Deepak & Avni’s E-Shoot Photos

Shooting people’s passion is what we love to do on engagement shoots. We’ve always wanted to shoot in a mechanic’s shop and though we had a lot of wrench’s thrown in our plans (pun intended), we found a wonderful man to let us use his shop. Since cars are Deepak’s love (after Avni) we tried really hard to find the right place…special thanks to Peter of Peter’s Auto Shop for being so kind to us. He’s the only mechanic we know who can sing and dance which fixing a car!

Thanks Deepak & Avni, for rolling with the punches and always having a bright smile on your face throughout the weather issues and location problems. We’re super excited for your upcoming wedding! xoxo

Ujala & Alim’s Wedding Photos

Sweet, simple and sincere are the three words to describe a wonderfully fun filled weekend with Ujala & Alim. If you remember, their e-shoot took place at their new home and was probably one of the most commented engagement shoots this year! When clients turn to friends, we’re sograteful for the connections we have… shooting on the wedding day doesn’t feel like work, but a gift we’re giving to our dear friends.

Most people stress out with one wedding, but Ujala & Alim had two weddings to coordinate (a Hindu and Ismaili ceremony).. and they did it with a happy and peaceful demeanor. Alim, I still remember that at the end of the day, you gave us the biggest bear hug and a smile which filled my heart. Thanks to you both for being incredible to work with and a special shout out to your adventurous bridal party…oh and to your beautiful baker cousin who saved a slice of vegan cake for us (a big hug from us!)

What to Wear Wednesdays: Wearing Prints!

Along with the summer weather comes dainty patterns and feminine clothing. While reflecting the bright summer season onto your outfits is always a good choice, sometimes what you really need is to mix it up a bit. Instead of getting lost in the crowd by wearing common summer fashions, play it cool by wearing interesting prints that will make you stand out and will help you rock your photo shoot!

Aarti and Lance’s E-Shoot

We’re so blessed to meet such incredible couples from all walks of life. When Aarti first emailed us to inquire about our availability, we both had a really good feeling. Learning about their passion for yoga and how important their spiritual path is to them, we decided to do a yoga engagement shoot which represented their love for this art form and each other. We chose the beautiful location of Wychwood Barns where old street cars used to park.  Today it’s a community garden and artists centre…the perfect location for our shoot.

Aarti & Lance, I hope I did your love justice and I hope you can use these photos at your wonderful new yoga studio. I’m so excited for you on this new path of life…and both Monty and I are looking forward to your wedding day!  <deep bow>
