Shooting downtown with a fun bridal party is the way we love to spend time on the weekends! Anytime we get to go to Kensington Market is a bonus! Below are some of the highlight of Cindy & Micheal’s beautiful downtown wedding. Enjoy!

We love it when couples we adore recommend us to their friends…this is how we met the wonderful David & Vivian. We traveled together with their little puppy Toby. Squished in the back of a really cute yellow Volkswagen Beetle made the experience that much more fun! After lunch in the middle of nowhere (near Barrie), we went to a nearby wildflower garden which was less than flowery! Since summer has been so late to arrive, wildflowers haven’t been in full bloom yet. This didn’t stop us and we found plenty of shoot spaces on this amazing property. Thanks David & Vivian for such a great time and for trusting our vision…can’t wait for the wedding this weekend!

Well it’s almost summer… which in Canada means patios, cottages and ice hockey. Yes, here north of the 40th, we enjoy winter so much that after the fluffy white stuff has long melted away, we sharply fix our gaze on a artificially frozen surface to watch the best two teams in the NHL battle it out for Lord Stanley’s Mug. Quintessentially Canadian yes… but this year a Canadian team, Vancouver (The Canucks… which is a nickname for a Canadian) have made it to the big ice dance.
Why am I telling you this… well just this past weekend we had the absolute pleasure of shooting Cindy & Michael wedding. Cindy & Michael who is a huge sports junky now live in Vancouver… but their roots in Toronto made it the perfect place to host an international guest list. The kicker, is some of the groomsmen were from Beantown a.k.a. Boston… the other team in the Stanley Cup final. Bum Bum Bum…. Drama!
What happens when these two opposing forces come together in Kensington Market during their wedding photo shoot… let’s just say that the boys both got 2 minutes for roughing and a game misconduct. Who won the tussle? Well, Michael is now happily married with all his teeth in tack… so I’m going to have to go with Cindy.

Straight from the pages of a Bollywood script came Gunit & Sandeep. Their love for South Asian cinema romances extended beyond the big screen and into their relationship. When Gunit approached us with her e-shoot concept, there was no question the kind of feel she wanted us to help her portray.
The quintessential vintage Bollywood movie is loaded with romance, without so much as even a kiss. We wanted to capture the tenderness, affection and love between the two with the same approach. Both Gunit & Sandeep played their parts perfectly. and the result is something that would make Salman Khan take notes.
Gunit gets super credit for braving a chilly Canadian April. While it snowed the previous day here in Toronto, it was in the high 80′s in her home state. She carried herself with grace and elegance, just like a Bollywood leading lady. Thank-you Sandeep & Gunit for an awesome day…we only wish we could have ordered warmer weather for you.
