This weekend we went to Asia Fest and got to enjoy a really awesome Bhangra (Indian dance) performance.
Here are some pictures from the event…![]()
If you lived in paradise, what would your food look like? Well, look no further than the next few blogs…I’m going to be showing you some of the most scrumptious food on the planet! It comes in all shapes and sizes, all sorts of flavors, is low in fat and no one was hurt to make it! Sound perfect?…it tastes perfect too!
The next series of blogs will be just about our food experiences…I hope you and your senses enjoy!
(Below the purple fruit is a star apple, and the dark brown fruit with the green on the outside is a
chocolate sapote)

Such gorgeous photos, Sangeeta. Thanks for sharing them. You’ve just saved me a fortune in airfare since I now feel like I’ve been to Maui!
Firstly, we just got back home from Maui, but really I’m not back. My heart is still in Maui, so let’s just pretend I’m still there.;) I’ll continue to post pictures from Maui so you can get a little taste of our beautiful adventures.
This image below is my very first panorama. It’s at the very top of a volcanic crater 10,000 ft above sea level. We had a very long and scary ride up the mountain, but the view was worth it! We were actually driving along side the clouds!
The next day we went to the gorgeous Iao Valley. It looked like something out of a movie. This is my first experiment with HDR imaging. I hope you like it.

This post is dedicated to Mama Raj who drools over flowers whenever
she sees them! The beauty of many of the flowers here is unparalleled! Here are just some of my favs (some of these shots are blurry because I had to take the shots w/o a tripod)…more images to come in another post.![]()
PS: Mama Raj: I hope these pictures make your heart bloom
with joy!

There’s something about the sun which just keeps me smiling. This beach has many reasons to smile from the amazing sunsets, to the soft sand under your feet, to the hula dancers…this place has to be seen in real life! All the beaches in this area are prime for weddings and I just happened upon one as you’ll see below…if you are thinking of ever getting married in Maui, Wailea Beach is the perfect spot!
