Perfectly Plaid – Amanda & Jamie’s Winter Wedding

Last time we saw Jamie and Amanda was late in the harvest season. We had a fantastic time in the cool autumn air and colourful apple orchards during their engagement shoot. Fast forward to this this past weekend and we again find ourselves having a blast on their wedding day. In our typical modus operandi, Sangeeta started the day at Amanda's house capturing the radiant Bride & Bridesmaids. I was stationed with the jovial Groom and his merry men.

My morning can be describes as: Laughs, laughs, tears and laughs… (and no, that's not a line from Leonard Cohen).  What I quickly discovered is that Scottish folk give you only a fleeting glimpse of emotion… but offer up an endless array of smiles and jokes.

Sangeeta's morning was a beautiful display of emotion with Amanda, her childhood friends and teary eyed parents. Amanda was a determined bride, who with a little help from her aunt's hand-knitted white mittens braved the sub-zero temperature to marry her high-school sweetheart.

Below is a small display of the moments and memories from our lenses. We had a fantastic time and would like to extend our personal thanks to Amanda & Jamie for entrusting us to capture their wedding day.
