Weddings come in many shapes, sizes and flavours. The summer harvest wedding of Vince & Miriam was perhaps our most unique and inspired wedding of the year.
Hosted in the ultimate reclaimed urban space: a converted streetcar storage facility, Wychwood Barn played host to it's first ever wedding. Drawing from the local community philosophy of the space, Vince & Mariam thought out ever detail with a mindfully organic & fresh approach.
Instead of flowers, there were local ferns fresh from the community greenhouse. Instead of a banquet hall, the open air garden featured a 60' long timber wood family table. And in what was the most decadent touch… no wedding cake, but a mouth watering buffet of homemade cakes, pies, flans and crumbles loving prepared by the family matriarchs.
The best compliment to the space was the humble happy couple, who were tremendously gracious hosts. If there was ever an inspired way to start your lives together Vince & Mariam certainly got it spot on.
Thanks you for letting us be part of your unique event & sharing in the special moments. ..and a special thanks to "fixer" extraodinaire Rebecca!
